Hol van a kulcs?

Reading activity for Postpositions

New to this text? Warm up first. Step through the lines with their translations, then read — words you've just met are much easier to follow.

  1. Warm up. Go through every line with its translation before you read. Learners who meet the words first understand more and remember more of them.
  2. Read. Follow the story. Click a sentence (or press d) only when a line really stops you — stopping for every word breaks the flow. If there's narration, press play and read along.
  3. Read it again on another day. A second reading is where many of the new words stick.

Already follow most of it? Just read, and use the warm-up or a sentence click whenever you get lost or curious about a word.

Warm-up
Anna és Péter a házban vannak. Anna a konyhában van, Péter a szobában.
– Péter, hol van a kulcs?
– Nem tudom. Az asztalon van?
– Nem, az asztalon nincs.
– Talán a táskában van.
– Nem, a táskában nincs.
Péter a szobából a konyhába megy. A szék alatt keresi.
– Itt van! A szék alatt van!
– Köszönöm! Most a pékségbe megyek.
– Melyik pékségbe?
– A pékség a bank mellett van, a híd előtt.
– Én is jövök. A pékségből a parkba megyünk?
– Igen! A park a pékség mögött van.
Anna és Péter a házból az utcára mennek. A kulcs Annánál van.
